Investing in Cape Cod’s Future

Cape & Coast Bank is proud to introduce the Future Leaders Scholarship as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting education and investing in the long-term success of our local community. Up to four $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors residing in and enrolled at Barnstable County high schools who demonstrate leadership potential and a desire to make a positive impact here on Cape Cod.

Submission Criteria

Short Essay (up to 500 words)
How I will Contribute to Cape Cod’s Future
One letter of Recommendation
From a teacher, guidance counselor, coach, or employer, speaking to the applicant’s leadership qualities

Eligibility

Be a student in good standing
Reside in Barnstable County
Be currently enrolled in a Barnstable County high school
Plan to pursue higher education at an accredited:
- 2-year college
- 4-year university
- Vocational or technical school

What We Mean By Leadership

Leadership takes many forms. Applicants may demonstrate leadership through:

Formal roles such as athletics, student government, or school clubs
Everyday actions that reflect integrity, collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to community improvement

Applications will be considered based on academic performance, participation in leadership roles or demonstration of leadership qualities. As part of the application review process, applicants may be asked to submit a copy of their school transcript. Applications need to be submitted by April 30, 2026.
