Erik Porter

Erik Porter, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cape & Coast Bank, is a community banking advocate and accomplished leader with more than 25 years’ experience driving financial strategy, operational transformation, enterprise-wide growth and high-performance team building for financial institutions.

Prior to assuming the bank’s leadership role, Porter served as its Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, with responsibility for companywide initiatives designed to generate long-term growth and sustainability. He also played a major role in the bank’s extensive rebranding initiative, which culminated in the debut of a new name and visual identity in 2025.

Porter previously held senior financial, accounting and treasury management positions at Metro Credit Union, Corporate Finance Group, Inc., Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank and Wainwright Bank & Trust Company.

Dedicated to community engagement and volunteerism, Porter currently serves as a Board member and current treasurer of Cape and Islands United Way.

Porter holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Western New England College and is an honors graduate of the American Bankers Association (ABA) Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He also earned a leadership certificate from The Wharton School, Aresty Institute of Executive Education at the University of Pennsylvania.

CJ Conrad

Christine “CJ” is an Executive Vice President and Chief Client Experience Officer and a resident of Brewster. She is a dynamic operations executive with more than 15 years of progressive leadership experience driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and enterprise-wide process optimization across financial services organizations. CJ oversees innovation strategy, digital experience, deposit operations, and marketing and client service, with a proven ability to build scalable frameworks, lead complex technology implementations, and guide large cross-functional teams.

CJ holds a Master of Science in Banking and Financial Services Management from Boston University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Bates College. A Certified Project Manager, she is also active in the community as a Board Member of Friends of Wilson Ponds, a Maine Land Trust, and former Board Member at Nauset Schools SEPAC. She enjoys boating, pickleball, swimming, and listening to true crime podcasts, and is the proud parent of two teenagers—one a graduate of Sturgis East and one currently a junior there. CJ is especially excited about joining Cape & Coast Bank because it allows her to serve the community where she lives, and she looks forward to helping guide the Bank into a new era for the industry while continuing to deepen local impact.

Mary Kay Shea

Mary Kay is an accomplished financial executive with more than 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. She currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer, bringing a proven track record of leadership, operational excellence, and strategic growth. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, cum laude, from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to her current role, she served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating and Financial Officer, and Corporate Secretary at 1st Colonial Community Bank in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Throughout her career in community banking, Mary Kay has developed a deep understanding of the importance of building strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and the communities she serves. She is actively involved in the arts as President of the Board of Trustees for Mainstage Center for the Arts and has been recognized for her leadership with honors including South Jersey Biz’s 2022 Women to Watch, SouthJersey.com’s 2023 Top CEOs & CFOs List, and South Jersey Biz’s Who’s Who in Banking 2024.

A resident of North Providence, Rhode Island, Mary Kay is excited to bring her experience and passion to a team that shares a vision of becoming the best bank for Cape Cod. With over three decades of experience in community banking, she understands the value of connecting with local residents, business owners, and internal teams. She believes that by empowering cross-functional collaboration and fostering a strong culture, organizations can achieve sustainable, profitable growth while deepening their financial commitment to the communities they serve. Outside of work, Mary Kay enjoys reconnecting with family and friends in Massachusetts and has a love for the arts, particularly attending musical theater performances whenever she can.

Brent Grable

Brent is a Weymouth resident with more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, including roles at State Street Bank in Boston, Santander and most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at HarborOne Bank. Throughout his career, he has focused on aligning technology with business strategy to enhance customer experience, strengthen operations, and support sustainable growth. He has led technology organizations in highly regulated environments with an emphasis on practical innovation, strong governance, and collaborative partnerships.

Brent holds an MBA from Babson College’s Olin Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Colgate University. He serves as a board member of School on Wheels Massachusetts and volunteers with Harvest for Hunger, Hope and Comfort, the Boys and Girls Club, and various Weymouth youth sports. He joined Cape & Coast Bank, drawn by a strong commitment to community banking, and looks forward to advancing technology capabilities to support the bank’s mission and future growth.

Scott Kwarta

Scott joins Cape & Coast Bank with more than 25 years of experience in senior roles at several leading financial institutions in New England, including Workers Credit Union, UniBank for Savings, BankNewport and Citizens Financial Group. Scott is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Fordham University.

Scott’s in charge of developing an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Strategy and Program and also oversees information security, information technology, credit, compliance, and operations.

Scott is a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands and F.O.R.W.A.R.D. Scott is also a Big Brother.

Shanika Rogowski

Shanika Rogowski joined Cape & Coast Bank in 2020 and is our Executive Vice President, Chief Consumer & Residential Banking Officer. As an executive leader at Cape & Coast Bank, Shanika oversees all consumer direct areas including Retail Branches, Mortgage Lending, Consumer Lending and our Investment team. In her role she guides the bank’s sales, service, and delivery teams to provide comprehensive financial solutions to banking clients and homeowners.

Shanika has 30 years of banking experience, bringing a balanced strategic approach drawing from her experiences at a Bluestone Bank, Cambridge Savings Bank and Bank of America. Shanika is a graduate of Babson College, having completed both the New England School for Financial Studies Program and the Leadership in Banking Program. Shanika sits on the Board of Directors for Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association and on the Women’s Advisory Board for Massachusetts Bankers Association.

Shanika enjoys volunteering in the community having volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, Relay for Life, Food Pantries, and working with various Chambers of Commerce to promote business collaboration. Shanika lives in Mashpee with her husband and their beloved mini-bernedoodle. She enjoys spending free time with their adult children and grandchild, along with exploring new places, playing golf, reading, and practicing mindfulness and yoga.

James Quitadamo

James Quitadamo brings over 32 years of Commercial Credit, Portfolio Management and Commercial Lending experience to Cape & Coast Bank. Jamie’s previous roles include Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer at UniBank For Savings in Whitinsville, MA.
James has a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, is a Stonier Graduate School of Banking grad, and holds a certificate from Wharton Business School Leadership. He lives with his family in Dennis.

Lee Ann Hesse

Lee Ann Hesse joined Cape & Coast Bank in 2013 and is the Executive Vice President and Chief Engagement Officer and Community Reinvestment Officer.  In this role she is responsible for the engagement of employees through oversight of all Human Resource functions; client engagement through marketing and public relations; and community engagement through oversight of the bank’s philanthropic programs. As the CRA Officer, she advocates for The Bank’s employee volunteerism and promotes supporting philanthropy partnerships with our community.

Lee Ann has worked in Banking and Financial Services for more than 20 years and began her career in Boston at Scudder Stevens and Clark as a Registered Representative and Corporate Training Specialist. Upon moving to the Cape in the early 1990s, she was the Operations Manager and Treasurer of the CCB&T Investment Company and subsequently the Director of Human Resources with the former Cape Cod Bank & Trust Company. Prior to joining Cape & Coast Bank she served as Vice President of Human Resources at the de novo Bank of Cape Cod, a post she held for seven years.

She is active in the community, including serving as a Board Member of the Cape Symphony and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She is a past Mentor with WE CAN’s Pathmaker Program, Board President of the Barnstable Land Trust, Member of the JFK Hyannis Museum Board, YMCA Cape Cod Human Resources Advisory Committee, the Barnstable-West Barnstable School Council and the Workforce Investment Board.

Lee Ann is a graduate of Bates College and the New England School of Financial Studies. A native of Maine, she lives with her husband in West Barnstable.
