About Robert

Robert Carey is Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Banking Officer at Cape & Coast Bank, where he leads the bank’s commercial banking team and lending strategy across Cape Cod. Since joining the bank in 2013, Rob has held several leadership roles, including Commercial Relationship Banker and Commercial Banking Market Leader. With more than 20 years of banking and financial services experience, he is committed to helping local businesses grow through thoughtful, relationship-focused banking solutions.

Before joining Cape & Coast Bank, Rob held senior positions with Pioneer Investments, Ridgewood Securities, Sun Life Financial, and Assent Clearing LLC. His diverse background in banking, investments, and capital markets provides a unique perspective that enables him to deliver tailored financial solutions to business owners and investors throughout the region.

A lifelong Cape Cod resident, Rob is deeply connected to the local business community and actively supports organizations including Barnstable Land Trust and Meals on Wheels. He earned both his Bachelor’s degree and M.B.A. from Bryant University and resides in Sandwich, where he enjoys fishing, sailing, swimming, and skiing with his family.
