About Wendy

Wendy K. Northcross, CCE, is a dedicated and Certified Chamber Executive with a distinguished 30-year career in nonprofit management and economic development. From 2002 to 2021, she served as the CEO of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, where she led transformative initiatives, including the advocacy for replacing the Cape Cod Canal bridges, the passage of the Cape & Islands Water Protection Fund, and launching the Cape's Blue Economy initiative.

In 2021, Northcross was named the Executive Director of the JFK Hyannis Museum, a project she originally helped create in 1992. Her extensive leadership experience is further demonstrated by her service on several boards, including Cape & Coast Bank and the Hyannis Rotary Good Works Fund. As a Ford Foundation Fellow, her expertise in sustainable economic development is recognized internationally. A respected leader, she was also named the Mercy Otis Warren Cape Cod Woman of the Year in 2021.
