Matt Cole

Matt Cole is the President and CEO of Cape Associates, a full-service custom building and remodeling company serving the Cape Cod community. Cape Associates provides a variety of services, taking on building projects, from small-scale installations and remodeling, to large-scale, multi-million-dollar, building projects. In 2012, Matt became the third-generation President and CEO in the company’s long and successful history of serving the Cape Community with top home building resources. Matt is a passionate advocate, supporting many local community-based organizations, and is Vice President of the Kelley Foundation and a member of the Orleans Zoning Board of Appeals.

Matt has previously served both as a Corporator and on the Charitable Foundation Trust Board for Cape & Coast Bank.

Beth O’Neal

Beth O’Neal has practiced law for nearly four decades, focusing on employment law as a litigator and advisor to employers. Beth was deeply involved in the leadership of her firm, Conn Kavanaugh Rosenthal Peisch & Ford, LLP, being elected as a member of the Management Committee, co-chair of the Business Development Committee, and member of the Long Term Strategic Growth Committee. She was a trusted advisor to clients, Human Resources professionals, and executive management.

Beth regularly donated her time to educate business persons and other lawyers on employment law at pro bono events and educational programs. She was a regular contributing author of “Law at Work,” published in Cape & Plymouth Business magazine. Currently, Beth resides in West Yarmouth with her husband and Newfoundland dogs. She loves sailing, including competitive sailboat racing, gardening, and Nantucket basket making. Beth is a member of the Hyannis Yacht Club and St. Francis Xavier Parish.

David Brown

David Brown is a former President and Chief Executive Officer of Members Capital Advisors (MCA), the asset management division of CUNA Mutual Group (CMG). He also served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, and senior member of the Executive Leadership Team for CMG. In addition to his work at MCA and CMG, David also served as an Independent Board Director and Committee Member for the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC and as an Independent Director and Member of the Investment Committee for the Barnstable Mutual Insurance Company/Yankee Risk Solutions. Additionally, he served on the Advisory Board in two venture capital groups: Brewer Lane Ventures and Marlinspike Partners.

Previously, David worked for TIAA-CREF as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of the TIAA General Account and Stable Value Portfolios. During his time there, he held several leadership positions: Chairman of the TIAA Investment Management Committee, a voting member on several committees, Head of all Global Public Fixed Income Markets, and Head of Global Private Fixed Income, Head of Real Estate Funds.

David earned a BS in Business Administration from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has been active with various industry councils, conferences, and forums throughout his career and was a frequent speaker on industry panels. He previously served on several not-for-profit agencies, including the Board of Directors of CapeAbilities, Inc. and the Board of Directors of a Community College Educational Foundation.

William Varga

Bill Varga is a career technology executive. Bill’s track of software company success includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Shunra Software with principal offices in the US, Israel and the UK, major customers included Bank of America, Apple and the US Government.  Shunra Software which focused on software application performance was acquired by HP.

Prior to Shunra, Mr. Varga was Executive Vice President of Global Field Operations at Ounce Labs, headquartered in Waltham MA,  Ounce specialized in software application security.  Ounce Labs was acquired by IBM.

He has been on the Board at Cape & Coast Bank since 2019.

Bill holds a BS from Central Connecticut State University and an MBA in Marketing from University of Bridgeport.  He is an active software startup advisor, is currently founder and principal of Tanner and Tanner (a business development consultancy). Bill originally from Fairfield CT,  is an avid boater, was a long time Cape summer resident, now resides full time in Cotuit with his wife and English Springer Spaniel Lucy (and a lot of summer company).

Sarah Alger

Sarah F. Alger is an attorney and the owner of Sarah F. Alger, P.C., practicing in Nantucket since 1983 and in Osterville since 2007. The firm concentrates in real estate law, land use, estates, estate planning, and trusts. A graduate of Barnstable High School, Sarah holds a BA from Dartmouth College and a JD from the Boston University School of Law. Active in the community, Sarah is the Nantucket Town Moderator, an elected position she has held since 1997, a member of the Barnstable, Nantucket, and Massachusetts Bar Associations, Nantucket Women’s Bar Association, and Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts, and a Trustee Emerita of the Nantucket New School.  Sarah has been a Corporator of Cape & Coast Bank since 2008 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2019. Sarah has two grown children and lives in Siasconset with her husband.

Wendy Northcross

Wendy K. Northcross, CCE, is a dedicated and Certified Chamber Executive with a distinguished 30-year career in nonprofit management and economic development. From 2002 to 2021, she served as the CEO of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, where she led transformative initiatives, including the advocacy for replacing the Cape Cod Canal bridges, the passage of the Cape & Islands Water Protection Fund, and launching the Cape’s Blue Economy initiative.

In 2021, Northcross was named the Executive Director of the JFK Hyannis Museum, a project she originally helped create in 1992. Her extensive leadership experience is further demonstrated by her service on several boards, including Cape & Coast Bank and the Hyannis Rotary Good Works Fund. As a Ford Foundation Fellow, her expertise in sustainable economic development is recognized internationally. A respected leader, she was also named the Mercy Otis Warren Cape Cod Woman of the Year in 2021.

Nancy Garran

Nancy W. Garran is a life-long Cape Codder. After earning her bachelor’s degree at Skidmore College in New York, Nancy returned to Cape Cod to make her family’s business her life’s work. For 40 years, Nancy led Cape Cod Sea Camps Inc., her family’s third-generation recreational camp in Brewster. For 99 years, CCSC welcomed children, ages 4-17, from across the United States and around the world to its day- and resident-summer camp programs. In addition, CCSC rented its facilities to congregations, schools, sports teams, families, and other groups during the off-season. Nancy retired in 2021 as the camp’s CEO/Executive Director. Currently, the family business includes a hospitality property, Linger Longer by the Sea in Brewster.

Nancy has been serving on Cape & Coast Bank’s Board of Directors since 1993. She has been involved in most areas of the bank, lending her knowledge and insight as a small, local business owner. She has held board and committee positions at the regional and national levels of the American Camp Association, and she’s been a member of the Massachusetts Camping Association and the Cape Cod Association of Children’s Camps. Nancy and her husband met at camp, live in Brewster, and have two sons who married their camp sweethearts. They have six grandchildren who also live on Cape.

Gary Sheehan

Gary is the General Manager, SVP of Diabetes for AdaptHealth. AdaptHealth is the largest provider of home medical equipment and services in the United States.

Gary grew Cape Medical Supply, a company founded by his parents out of a rented home in Mashpee in 1977, to a regional leader within the homecare sector in New England. In April 2020, Gary led a three way Private Equity backed merger to create Spiro Health. Spiro made two additional acquisitions in 2020 and grew to service 8 states and DC with a substantial patient base and leadership team, led by Gary as CEO. Spiro Health was acquired by AdaptHealth (NASDAQ: AHCO) in April 2021.

Gary was a co-founder of the Cape Cod Young Professionals, a past Board Chairman of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, joined the Board of Trustees of Cape Cod Healthcare in April 2024 and has spent considerable time volunteering and supporting community and youth sports organizations in the region.

Gary is a graduate of Boston College, where he was a 4-year member of the Men’s Varsity Ski Team, captaining the team his senior year. He earned his MBA from Suffolk University and lives in West Barnstable with his wife and son.

Gary M. DellaPosta

Gary M. DellaPosta is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts and the founder of Gary M. DellaPosta CPA, a Falmouth-based accounting firm he established in 1982. His firm serves more than 275 businesses and 450 individuals across Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Southeastern Massachusetts, providing accounting, tax, and advisory services to companies ranging from $200,000 to $85 million in annual revenue.

A graduate of Bryant University, Gary is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. In addition to his accounting and tax practice, he provides litigation support and expert witness services in Massachusetts courts.

Gary has been a Corporator of Cape & Coast Bank since 2012 and joined the Board of Directors in 2013. He was named Lead Director in 2025 and currently serves on the Governance Committee and the Enterprise Risk Management Committee. He previously chaired the Audit Committee and served on the Compensation Committee.

He also serves on the Board of Barnstable County Mutual Insurance Company and has held past leadership roles with Eastern Bank, Plymouth Savings Bank, the Community Health Center of Cape Cod, and Heritage Museums & Gardens. A long-time resident of Falmouth, Gary is recognized for his financial expertise, integrity, and commitment to the Cape Cod community.

Chris Lynch

Christopher Lynch is President and Owner of Falmouth-based Lawrence-Lynch Corporation, a third generation civil construction company. The family-owned company has been providing construction services across the Cape for thirty-five years. Lawrence-Lynch Corp. has also established its own “Foundation for Charitable Giving” through the Cape Cod Foundation and annually contributes to more than sixty local charities and community events. A graduate of Falmouth High School, Chris now resides in Barnstable with his wife and children. He’s actively involved in the community and has a strong expertise in the local business industry, as well as a strong connection to the Cape’s philanthropic community. He sits on the Board with the Barnstable County Public Works, and was elected to Cape & Coast Bank’s Board of Directors in April of 2015. Chris serves on the Compensation Committee and Enterprise Risk Committee.
